Hi! I'm Erik Bodén

About me

I’m Erik Bodén and I finished my bachelors of arts studying 2d graphics for games at Högskolan in Skövde, Sweden, last year! I now live in Stockholm and I’m looking for an internship.

During the course I learned about concept art and illustration using Photoshop and Procreate.

We also made a few games in groups at the school. The game projects were fastpaced, taking place during 2 months each. During these times we had to deliver a finished, working product from one of the game concepts we were given. At these times I’ve taken the role of 2d artist, making UI and concepting ideas for characters and environments. I’ve also taken part in the planning as well as holding the vision in the role of creative director during these projects.

Alongside the course I've also learned 3d modeling in blender which I used for a horror game project for my bachelor’s thesis. Modelling and sculpting in 3d came naturally after having studied anatomy and machinery through drawing the past 5 years in my free time.

After graduating I have taken a course in digital painting and worked on personal projects to keep improving my skills in painting. Started working on a couple of game projects with friends. I have taken a few Udemy courses to keep improving my 3d modelling and, in particular, sculpting skills, which I’m working on right now. I’m doing this while I’m working part time at a café located in Kulturhuset at the center of Stockholm.
